Located on the 60th floor of a Financial District building is one of Danny Meyer’s newest restaurants. Manhatta offers a three-course prix-fix hospitality-included menu with stunning panorama views of the city.
The meal started with a quick vegetable amuse bouche along with bread for the table. For my first course, I had the foie gras. Although the menu changes seasonally, this was a foie gras with a block of glazed Concord grapes, sesame, and a bricoche popover bun. Rich and delicious.
For our mains, former ADA Jared Mogil, who was treating me to a very special birthday dinner, and I ordered the duck a l’orange and Waygu beef.
